1. Purpose
Vermeer North Atlantic (“Company”) may create photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media content for use in marketing, advertising, training, website content, trade shows, and social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and company websites.
This agreement confirms the employee’s consent regarding participation in such content.
2. Voluntary Participation
Participation in media content is voluntary.
The employee understands that:
• Participation is not required as a condition of employment.
• Declining participation will not affect compensation, performance evaluation, advancement opportunities, or employment status.
3. Grant of Permission
If consenting, the employee grants Vermeer North Atlantic:
• Permission to photograph, record, and capture their likeness, voice, and image.
• The unrestricted right to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, publish, and display such media.
• The right to use media for commercial, promotional, educational, and marketing purposes.
This permission includes:
• Social media platforms
• Company website
• Digital advertising
• Trade show displays
• Printed marketing materials
• Future marketing formats not yet developed
4. Compensation
The employee understands:
• Participation does not entitle them to additional compensation.
• No royalties or additional payment will be provided for media use.
5. Duration
This consent is:
• Effective as of the date signed.
• Valid for the duration of employment and after separation, unless revoked in writing.
Revocation applies only to future use and does not require removal of previously published materials.
6. Release of Claims
The employee releases and discharges Vermeer North Atlantic from claims relating to:
• Use of likeness or voice
• Claims of invasion of privacy
• Claims of misappropriation of likeness
This release does not waive rights related to unlawful conduct.
By completing the following form, I acknowledge that:
• I have read and understand this Employee Media Participation & Release Agreement.
• My participation in company media content is voluntary.
• I understand that I may choose whether or not to participate in company media content.
• If I choose to participate, I authorize Vermeer North Atlantic to photograph, record, and use my likeness, image, voice, and appearance as described in this agreement.
• I understand that media content may be used for marketing, advertising, promotional, educational, recruiting, and business purposes, including on social media platforms, websites, digital advertising, printed materials, and trade show displays.
• I understand that I will not receive additional compensation, royalties, or other payment for the use of approved media content.
• I understand that approved media content may remain in use after my employment ends and that previously published materials are not required to be removed.
• I understand that Vermeer North Atlantic may edit, reproduce, distribute, publish, or otherwise use approved media content at its discretion.
• I certify that the information I have provided is accurate and complete.
• I understand that my electronic submission and typed name constitute my acknowledgment and agreement and have the same force and effect as a handwritten signature.
